Guard
Charlie Scott
A prolific scorer with a gunner's mentality, Scott still holds the Suns' record for career scoring average. After being acquired late in the 1971-72 season
from Boston for future considerations that eventually became Paul Silas, Scott went on to play three full seasons with Phoenix, averaging 24.8 points, 5.3 assists and 4.1 rebounds. His 24.8 career scoring average ranks first among Suns all-time leaders. Scott also played in the NBA All-Star Game in each of his three years with the team. On May 23, 1975, Scott was sent back to the Celtics in exchange for Paul Westphal.
